Webamp uses a monorepo approach, so in addition to the Webamp NPM module, this repository contains code for a few closely related projects and some pieces of Webamp which are published as standalone modules: renderWhenReady ( app ) įor more examples, including how to add audio files, check out examples/ directory and the API documentation. good drifters adapted to s2, exactly the same as good racers had to adapt.Īfter all, racers can't use their S1 race style in S2.New Webamp ( ). these people have taken the new physics and adapted to them/learnt them there are plenty of drift servers in S2 and plenty of wicked looking drift videos that people are making. It's upto us to adapt to their new innovations or be left behind. i dont believe for a minute the developers are trying to make life difficult for drifters at all - they simply want to make virtual cars act like real cars, virtual tyres heating up and wearing like real ones. if certain drifters want to drift all day on the same non wearing tyres with 45degrees of steering lock the old S1 version can be loaded up. In the end LFS is becoming more and more realistic. IMO, the addition of the Tyre Wear = more realistic gameplay = more fun = happy me The people that still drift right now are only getting better and better, most of them are doing great, and they're still enjoying the game a lot, just like me. Quote from Stanle圜arter :The tyre wear gets a bit of time to get use to, but it provides you with greater challenges, now in S2, instead of trying so hard to drift the whole track, most of us are spending more effort in keeping the car on the track while getting it sideways through corners without spinning out. I wouldnt usually reply to a thread like this, and indeed i am no windows fanboy, but i think credit should be given when its due.Īnd if you're a gamer running linux, you're just stubborn. Linux may finally be stable but if you think windows chokes under the same situation, think again Please note my LFS is all set to maximum detail settings (which yours clearly aint) and im still at over 60fps. I have LFS, LFSViewer, Email Client, Opera with 3 tabs open, MSN Messenger, Skype, media player playing initial d, winamp playing an mp3, windows explorer AND ADOBE PHOTOSHOP!! Here's a screenshot of windows "choking" as you'd call it. I believe (from experience) Windows would have choked by now. Quote from tecwizrd :I have LFS, LFSViewer, Email client, TheGimp image editor, Firefox with 5 or 6ix tabs open, System Monitor to show load CPU=96%, a game of blackjack and Xmen avi playing on the second desktop.
